Introduction:
Depending on patient allergy treatment goals, and the allergens a patient tests positive for, our custom-tailored treatment can be made up of anywhere from 1 to 6 allergens/mixes in a single vial. Treatment may contain a regional mix of pollens that are relevant in the patient's region, in addition to dust / animal allergens.
Example Mixes:
For example, a patient in Vancouver, BC may receive a mix of:
Allergen: |
BC Coastal Mix |
Dog Dander |
Cat Hair |
Dust Mite Mix |
While a patient in Kelowna, BC may receive a mix of:
Allergen: |
BC Interior Mix |
Dog Dander |
Cat Hair |
Dust Mite Mix |
Why Regional Mixes?
Biscuit Health is the only treatment provider in Canada that takes patients' goals and lifestyles into account when creating custom-tailored treatment. Through our partnerships, we collect individual pollen count data from each region, informing us on specifically what pollen species are present in your region. This allows us to target your treatment, and deliver the maximum dosage of pollens that are relevant to you.
For example, patients who live in Vancouver have no need to be treated for pollens that only exist in Montreal, unless they travel there frequently. Each allergen added to mixes will dilute other allergens, so we aim to only include allergens of concern. Our targeted, and data-driven approach ensure our patients receive the maximum dosage, reducing overall treatment time.

Patients with Mould Allergies:
Patients who have a mould allergy and who elect to receive treatment for mould require a separate bottle and will have to administer that treatment separately as mould cannot be combined with other allergens.
