SLIT is not widespread in North America because our system is broken. We're here to change that

Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT) is the default treatment throughout most of Europe (with 90% of immunotherapy patients in France using SLIT vs. allergy shots). However, in Canada, this effective form of allergy immunotherapy treatment has historically been extremely inaccessible for a variety of reasons:

  • There are less than 250 allergists in Canada to treat over 40M people

  • 90% of allergists are based around urban centers, leaving rural communities out

  • Allergy immunotherapy may not be covered by public healthcare for all patients

Unfortunately, the lack of access to effective & efficient allergy care has resulted in a culture towards symptom management rather than disease prevention, placing a larger burden on our overall healthcare system.

We built Biscuit Health in hopes of changing this. Our vision is to make convenient & effective allergy care accessible to every Canadian through technology.
