Introduction:

Have you ever experienced itchiness in your throat, mouth, or around your lips after eating fresh fruits or vegetables?

If so, you've likely assumed you are allergic to these foods and have been unable to enjoy them. Your allergic reactions are likely caused by proteins or pollens rather than the fruit or vegetable itself. Symptoms usually last a few minutes, rarely progressing to anything more serious, and foods can be consumed if cooked or processed with our symptoms.

This condition; known as Oral Allergy Syndrome, or OAS is highly treatable through allergy immunotherapy. The chart below outlines the types of foods you may experience reactions with, and the associated pollen proteins causing these reactions.

Oral Allergy Syndrome can be easily treated in the comfort of your home with our allergy immunotherapy program!
